Some time ago, as a personal side project, I started to record an audiobook version of G.K. Chesterton’s book ‘Orthodoxy’ – which is a personal favourite. I never finished the project, and was somewhat dissuaded by my inability to put together a suitable recording space in my home office (tiled floors, big windows, and loud motorbikes on the road outside is not a good combination).
Nevertheless, I have the first six chapters recorded and there’s no point that work going to complete waste. So, I am planning to release each chapter, probably once a week, on here in the hopes that it is enjoyable to some.
And who knows, if anyone listens to it, I may trick myself into completing the book…
Reader’s preface
The audio I include with this post is not a part of the book, but a preface I wrote myself to accompany my recording. It describes why I am so fond of this book, and hopefully it proves compelling enough to you that you would like to keep listening, or failing that, to buy the book for yourself and read it.
I hope to have chapter one up in the next couple of days.
